Hidden among dense riverine bush and on the banks of the Rufiji River, the rebranded Selous Kulinda Camp provides the most breathtaking views as dawn arises and a whole new adventure begins. The Camp is situated a short distance from the entrance of the newly named Nyerere National Park (previously Selous Game Reserve). 

 

Simply furnished, the camp provides comfort and luxury but also a feel of arguably the most untouched bush anywhere on the African horizon. Attention has been paid to every detail to make sure guests experience the true essence of an adventure safari of a lifetime.

The camp offers an indoor and an outdoor dining area providing the most sumptuous of African cuisine as well as special sundowners at the deck bar. The camp boasts a very large deck area with a small pool, on the banks of the river and this is a perfect place to watch the spectacular African sunset.

 

There are a total of 14 very large and spacious tents, 6 tents have twin beds and 9 have double beds. 5 tents are deluxe tents and have large private plunge pools. All the tents are on a solid platform with polished wooden or stone floors a meter above the ground with a thatch Mokuti roof providing shade. All rooms have mosquito nets and the windows and door are all mosquito-proof. The large en suite bathrooms (app. 15sqm) have showers, a flush toilet, and his and hers basins.  The tents all have a relaxing veranda area with a view of the Rufiji River.
